Dates proposal, if you have an event describe in the section "Policy on missed and out-of-sequence assessments" of the syllabus and you cannot make the Quiz, please email me and I might try to change the date. In any other case, if you cannot make the Quiz you will get a zero. Please note that the date of the Midterm and the final are in the syllabus. Also, everything done before the quiz in class can be asked during the quiz.
